Requirements for Offline Listening
Before downloading music from Spotify, ensure you meet these prerequisites:
- Spotify Premium Subscription: Offline listening is exclusively available to Premium users
- Compatible Device: Smartphones, tablets, or computers with adequate storage space
- Spotify App: Install the official app from Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS)
- Stable Internet Connection: Required for initial downloads
Download Settings
Before beginning, configure your download preferences:
- Open Spotify Settings
- Navigate to "Storage"
- Select download quality:
- Low (24kbps)
- Normal (96kbps)
- High (160kbps)
- Very High (320kbps)
Note: Higher quality audio requires more storage space.
Steps to Download Music
On Mobile Devices
